    Emmanuel Rodriguez the new Puerto Rican star

    Rodriguez just put the boxing world on notice with his title win over Butler earlier today.

    He reminds me a lot of wilredo Gomez very similar in fighting style.

    What’s next for him?

    I think he might end up being the class of the division and that’s including Luis Nery.

      I'm Puerto Rican bro but we are doomed. Let's admit it. The kid hasnt proven anything yet, another Verdejo waiting to be exposed, only this one is a midget.

          If he wants to be a star he needs to put the foot down when he is that far on top. Looked like he could do what he wanted in there but never went for the kill.

          Seriously talented though.

          Division has a bit of ****e with Rodriguez, Inuoe, Nery, Burnett and Tete. (Edit: Forgot Nery moved up, still a good list)

          All good/excellent fighters in or around their prime. Hope we actually see some of the right fights.

                      I haven't watched his last fight, so I'll have to watch it, but from what I've seen he doesn't seem that special man.

                      And trust me, I want another PR fighter to root for but its not looking promising atm.

                                      It's a tough weight class. Zolani Tete is still there, Ryan Burnett, now Inoue may move up. If he emerges from it, that would be really impressive.

                                      That's why there needs to be a tournament here.
