It’s not stealing it if it’s in America. If you want to make it a Mexico thing then fight in Mexico on a Mexican cable network. I don’t celebrate no damn Cinco de mayo lol.
May 5th is just another day for boxing. Y’all had the date the last 2yrs and have the fans nothing but garbage.Comment

Ummm...absolutely.
We just haven't had a quality May fight in awhile.
Floyd v DLH 2007
Floyd v Mosley 2010
Floyd v Cotto 2012
Floyd v Manny 2015
That's a pretty good lineup considering he also fought Canelo (2013) and Hatton (2007) in off-months. Although I'm not the biggest Floyd fan he did make big boxing events...and the last 3 have been awful in his absence:
Canelo v Khan (what?)
Canelo v JCC (what?)
Gennady v Vanes (what?)
Shame of it is Gennady v Canelo would've been top tier...Gennady v Andrade or Dervenchenko would've also been solid :/Comment

Floyd really took the holiday over there for a while.
Canelo-Chavez Jr. should seem like the biggest Cinco fight ever but well, it's Chavez, Jr. Can't expect much there.
Floyd Mayweather- King of Cinco until proven otherwise. (and that won't happen tonight)Comment
