hopefully this guy is as tough and good as people have been saying (never watched him TBH).

GGG is in a no-win situation here - if he wins early, by KO, the opponent will be discredited due to inactivity.... if it goes long the haters will say GGG is ****e.

I think he wants a fight to keep busy, the Canelo business has kept him inactive.... at 36 you need to keep busy...

Great to see Golovkin get another good fighter to save the original fight date May 5th. Clearly Golovkin is one of the very best MW fighters this century. JFI this is not cheery picker... Vanes is great fighter. Casual alert!!

Don't sleep on Vanes Martirosyan. He was in same Olympic team as Andre Ward and Andre Direll. He is also an 8 time national and golden gloves champion and more dangerous fighter than Canelo on CLEAN. As long as Vanes doesn't RUN like a chicken COWARD, it should be entertaining 12 rounds fight. JMHO, any thoughts?
