Comments Thread For: Froch Gives Edge To Bellew To Beat Haye, Admits It's 'Very Close'

If he was staking a wager on the contest, former super middleweight champion Carl Froch would pick Tony Bellew to pull off another upset win over two-division world champion David Haye. Last March, Bellew moved up from the cruiserweight division to secure a major upset victory when he stopped Haye in the eleventh round.

i just dont see it, if hayes body holds up that is. bellew did better than expected but he was losing pretty much every round before the achilles snapped and i think that was an issue even before the fight jusging by hayes tactics and stance

          I think hate will win.
People say hate had one leg and fought one of worst fights ever but still lasted to 11th round a nd should win rematch easy?
But belle w has a win over haye and you can't buy that confidence a win gives you.
So it's a tough call but haye win if safe bet

Lets be honest here. Bellew has never been close to an elite level fighter, Haye is a former undisputed cruiser weight champion and came up short against a dominating Wlad who failed to knock him out.

Haye-Bellew was close before the injury and that is with haye not even training properly. I predict a devastating KO win for Haye.

If bellew makes haye miss in the early rounds and knackers him out I recon he could take him late

Hopefully punched out the ring job

Haye was still up before the injury got worse. I dont give Bellew much chance.

Yep. He’d fought Groves and sparred Eubank and picked Eubank so my money is going against Froch’s prediction
