Ryan Garcia Boo'd Out of the Stub Hub

I didn't see that coming. Stub Hub is one of my favorite venues, but damn they can be cold at times. In all candor, when you pander to casuals like Garcia, that element is to be expected.

I thought he did okay, but learned what everyone knows, and that is the chins get stronger as you step up a level. He found out he doesn't possess freakish power, but the kid is a sniper and beat Velez' ass bell-to-bell. Tank bodies him though.

Thats pretty **** if they booed him.
He's only 19 yrs old and he just beat a level up.
I give him respect for that.

He was a bit too slick and "cute" for them. That crowd wants Mexican style. Block punches with your nose and keep coming. Anytime he used lateral movement the boos got louder.

As far as facing Tank anytime soon, not a good idea. No different than Tank ducking and dodging Loma. Sometime ducking is undestood when a beatdown is guaranteed.

The reason they keep mentioning his IG followers is because its impressive. There's veteran world champs who haven't reached that number yet.

I heard the most exciting part of the night was Big Stomps beating down Breadman in the parking lot...
