and why are so many mexicans hating on GGG when canelo failed a drug test? he failed 2 tests.

clearly he is the WBC cash cow and that corrupt organization will back him to the hilt. sad that canelo is the face of mexican boxing. at least we have a lot of good fights coming up. props for GGG for not selling out and staying true to his beliefs. i am surprised by how many fans are upset about GGG still attacking canelo but some men value their beliefs and hold on to their convictions rather than selling out to the highest bidder. its a peasant mentality that some fans possess which is pretty pathetic.
Why is GGG fighting Vanes??? When is Mando said " If you need a warm body let me fight him"

GGG is gonna DROP his belt instead of fighting Sergiy.

And your GOD GGG is running from Sergiy.... Just give the man his BELT! If GGG won't fight then hand over the belt?

They have not stated that. Matter fact they released a test study late last year with a conclusion recommending that they use hair test to distinguish urine test results to determine when clenbuterol was used or it was meat contamination. Drug expert Victor Conte has stated flat out that hair test is more accurate then urine for meat contamination cases. Also it appears the reason they are not using hair test as a standard today has very little to do with reliability and everything to do with the fact that hair test are more expensive. Also according to Victor Conte who knows this stuff more then anyone it's not a matter of if but when the current hair test will be part of the WADA process in the future

I assumed he would let go the belt to fight Canelo but now it sounds like they are at an impasse, I'd imagine he will face Derevyanchenko next. I don't think that fight does very well on PPV though as there's been no exposure for the Ukrainian.

Laughing at folks still trying to attack the science when EVERY expert including victor conte say hair test is better judge to determine if someone is cheating or ate meat contamination then urine. The only reason they are not using hair test with urine today is not because the hair test isn't accurate but because it's more expensive. Canelo took the same hair test that dirty sanchez wanted him to and he had his tongue up Victor Conte's azzz quoting him as the most informed on the matter. But now Sanchez doesn't care what the experts or Victor Conte has to say and moved the goal post on what Canelo must do to prove he was innocent.

We went over this in another thread, man, in case you forgot. WADA did not recommend any such thing... a leading expert on hair testing recommended to WADA that hair testing had the potential to provide good discrimination based on a preliminary study. The actual research to confirm this and set detailed parameters has not yet been done.

And Conte can say all he likes but if the research has not yet been done then he's simply blowing smoke because no-one (including him or Dr Thieme who appears to be heading up WADA research) actually knows what the final outcome will be. Granted, yes, the research looks like it may eventually yield an accurate discrimatory testing protocol, but my point is that it hasn't yet.

                  And once more:

                  https://www.insidethegames.biz/artic...taminated-meat

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) concede that they currently have no scientific means to distinguish whether failed drug tests for clenbuterol have resulted from contaminated meat or genuine doping.
"We are running some studies to try to distinguish but we don't have a magic solution today," Rabin told insidethegames here at the WADA Symposium.
EDIT: And I'm noticing you still haven't got back to me so that we can do a point by point breakdown of the presentation that Conte used as 'evidence' in support of hair testing, but I assure you it basically says no more than I'm saying already. It kinda provides proof of principle but without the detailed follow up work that would be required to apply it as workable testing regime.

Regardless of whether or not Canelo is dirty, I am so sick of GGG. I'm sick of seeing him, I'm sick of hearing him and I honestly wish someone would just knock his ass out cold. I sick of his fake smile and personality and I'm of hearing him cry and complain about how dirty everyone else is. Shut up, focus on your fight and stop being such a freakin diva. Really can't stand this dude.
You are a moron. Do you not understand that he is being asked questions about Canelo nonstop and then BoxingScene chops up one interview or one press conference into like 5 different news stories, each one of them containing a different quote. This leads to morons thinking that golovkin is just endlessly bringing up Canelo to anyone that will listen, when the opposite is true. He has said he thinks they should not be talking about Canelo. It appears to me that he would be happy not to have to answer and Canelo questions. But when 2/3 of the questions he get are related to canelo it’s hard to not talk about him. And as far as being sick of him crying and complaining about how dirty everyone is, well i recall him complaining about Canelo being dirty because he failed 2 tests in 3 days or something. So it’s not up for debate. Canelo reared dirty, and being a clean fighter, Golovkin has every right to be upset. Jeez you guys sure are ****ting on Golovkin a lot considering he is the clean fighter here. He wasn’t the one who tested dirty twice and led to
Rematch being canceled/postponed. Why is t there more negativity directed at Canelo? My own personal theory for this is that fans fornthe most part don’t care all that much about PEDs in boxing. if it concerns their favorite boxer then they really don’t care about PEDs.

I’m a Golovkin fan as well as a Segiy fan, and I completely agree. In this instance i disagree with loeffler and I think hey should have used this May 5th date to fight the mandatory Derevyenchenko. Not fighting him looks bad, and fighting Vanes instead looks pathetic. As a Golovkin fan it’s a major disappointment
