Well this would be interesting. Oscar obviously has the capital and the connections to make moves in combat sports.

My question is if he decided to go this route who would head his match making and who could find the talent? If anything Oscar should partner with either Liddell or Ortiz to get this new venture going. Your talking about 2 of the most popular of all time and beloved my millions of fans especially Liddell.

Oscar just needs to keep in mind the UFC and Dana White have pretty much smashed the competition and unless former UFC stars or current stars sign with this new venture it will be a long hill to climb for De la Hoya.

If Chuck Liddell is your first target, you may as well call the liquidators now. That **** is going under.

KTFO in his last 3 fights.

Had been working for the UFC in some sorta bs job til the UFC got bought out & they did those interview for your job type things & fired Liddell & Matt Hughes (randomly they kept Forest Griffin who's apparently a go getter behind the scenes post-fighting career).

Has been talking about fighting for awhile now & doing random famous people get paid bs lately to avoid fighting I think. Its been rumored he will sign with Bellator soon.
Chuck was starting to look fat around 2005 or so. Over ten years later and several beat downs, what could he possibly have left?

Sadly enough for him to make several 6 figure paydays I imagine & if he's lucky a 7 digit payday or two.

His chin turned into the Amir Khan model later in his career & I just don't see that changing. He's got some big punches & a moment or two of complete darkness in his future for f#cking sure.

Wish commissions made it tougher for older guys to get a license so this couldn't happen as much as it does in combat sports across the board.
