spence would run him over and i honestly dont think he should get much credit for it..

They had his in a gym. I was like, "huh?" Lol

Then I look at Errol's and it looks like it could be for PPV. Very classy stuff from Showtime.
Looks like they shoulda saved some, that cash for garcia to actually step up and fight porter and get this ball rolling lol. I mean showtime only getting 800k average viewers and dont seem to be growing in that department. The worst out of all this is that after ocampo, spence probably wont fight again until next february at earliest. Hard to build a star when the garcia types clearly dont want real fights and you only fight couple times a yr. I still dont think he should be forced to move up though. See how crawford handles ww, which shouldnt be a problem, i believe porter will probably be first outta the top guys to take on spence. Just too much down time to grow into bona fide star imo

Errol hitching his wagon the Cowboys Star is a smart move. Fighting in their facility and showing up on the Thanksgiving Day football telecast is smart. You get NFL fans taking note of a boxer and big things can happen

Showtime is focused on building its streaming user base. Last I checked there were over 4 million app users (not boxing specific) and growing. That's where the money is. That 800k views is more impressive than many realize. That's why Espinoza was promoted.

I don't even watch cable any more. Most of my friends don't either. We all watch these fights on our phones or Macs.

On your other point, Spence will definitely fight late this year. Who will that person be? I'm not sure, but he's definitely fighting again

Garcia, Thurman, and Porter are going to run for their lives. Spence is a bigger and better version of Porter. Garcia isn't that great and will never be a true elite welterweight in my eyes (he also loses to Porter, IMO), and Thurman seems content and just about retired at this point in his career. Ever since he found that girl and got married he seemed to have his head and heart up in the clouds and hasn't fallen back. I don't think he has the motivation or desire anymore--- that hunger that drives a fighter to become a champion. He's made a few million (although probably not much more than $1-2 due to taxes/team cuts), which is generally enough for any person that lives below their means.

This is ironic. How are you going to claim Crawford is draining himself to make lower weights in comparison to Spence of all people, who is generally seen as a big welterweight?

Remind me, how many weight classes has Crawford been in compared to Spence?

              That's what I thought.

Btw Espinoza said they'll be announcing Porter v. Garcia soon at the presser.

Showtime should use the recipe HBO used with GGG: showcase him as much as possible even against sub-par competition to build a buzz around him, create this "monster" image. We all know that just like GGG, he'll most likely deliver when he faces the top dogs.

we all would love TC/spence....but spence is realistic at this point.....that would have to probably be a PPV type of fight and I don't think either side is quite ready for that right now....by "ready" I mean willing to make it the type of fight it could be/should be
