"Give me $50 million I'll sign tomorrow" - AJ

*Wilder offers $50 million and shows proof*

"Wait.. We have some more questions" - Slick Eddie.

That sums up negotiations up to this point.

50 million. But, in GBP, not USD. And, he needs Hearn's permission first.

Name all the HW's that held WBA, IBF and WBO titles together in 21 fights or less for the last 30 years (since it's been possible)....? Now try again for WBA/IBF...? How about just holding WBA/WBC/IBF HW title in 16 fights or less?

Any way you cut it, it's an impressive stat, even if you hate him, the stat is in the history books.

The thing the haters need to understand, is that statistically, if he beats Wilder and retains against anyone ranked for 3 or more fights he goes down in history as one of the most successful HW of all time...yep...how's that feeling haters? stomachs turning? LOL

Okay okay Ali is a bad example because of the sanctions he holds, but my point was really he unified 2 major titles in his 20th fight as had AJ. So whilst not a direct a comparison it’s not an unfair one in terms of stats. I am not suggesting there is any comparison in boxing btw, I’m not a fan boy

Charles Martin ****** as a champion and got beat. Simple as that. AJ doesn't get to pick who holds titles if some other d-head sticks coke and PEDs himself and loses his titles.

Amateur boxing is known for it's controversy, every year 100s of decisions are iffy because the judging is variable, he was probably given some home advantage but it was hardly a huge controversy, Cammarelle is a proven amateur and AJ was still pretty green and did enough to sneak the win. You'll get your chance to see if he's got the goods against Povetkin, who Cammarelle lost to many times as an amateur.

Not the best in UK?? Cos, what the fat fella who dresses as batman has such an illustrious record. Go watch Fury's last 5 fights (his back catalogue of C and B graders) including the 'incredible' win over Wlad. The guy is utterly boring to watch and sell's his skills way more than he delivers them, Wilder would beat him and so would Parker, Povetkin and AJ.
Its far from clear if hes the best in the UK, all i'm saying it might be a bit too early to be calling an all time great.

He would struggle terribly with Fury, David Haye would probably also give him serious problems if his body holds up. Even glass chin Price would give him a good fight.

Well I don’t thing he’s a great, but c’mon Price and Haye?! Haye who’s struggling to get favourite odds against Bellew, he’s shot as a fighter, AJ would destroy him, even Haye isn’t calling out AJ, no one would want that fight, total mismatch.

Price is not anywhere this level, would struggle with Brezeale forget AJ.

Fury is credible mostly because of what he says he can, not much evidence. Yeah he looked sharp against a very poorly turned out Wlad (and yeah I know the other school is he made him look bad, it’s a bit of both). People hold up Wlad as proof that Fury is the goods, but then 180 and say he was crap when AJ beat him and it doesn’t mean AJ is quality, ridiculous.

I can accept AJ needs more, Wilder and Povetkin wins would put beyond doubt any detractors.

But, same could be said for all of the guys at the top, all of them have big question marks. AJ has a slightly better record than the rest imho.

Fair points. If he beats wilder then he's clear #1. Which is why he needs that fight.
