Don’t behave all emotional please. You are a grown man and it’s not right. Lets leave out the name calling because you feel tough in front of your computer screen. Just stay in your lane and be a good boy

Who are you? Don king? Hilarious. Ummm...try reading anything about him and his resume. I mean its out there already. I just seen the piece espn magazine did on him,as one of the top 20 athletes of last 20 yrs and its very unflattering. Point being, ppl understand what his record is. Berto trash, guerrero trash, maidana tough guy but a b- level fighter even in that era. Victor ortiz....ha. Castillo beat him. Corrales a b- at best fighter and tailor made for him. I mean christ i didnt wanna, get into it for you but you almost pulled me,in. Its uncommon sense really. Oh and its very funny how you newer casuals cant talk about mayweather without speaking of pac. Hilarious. But i also understand the casuals arent really very deep. And your admiration for a guy never clouds your judgement makes zero sense when his legacy is already being pondered and written about and these are the things boxing purist talk about, along with fighting big names late and pac very late. Seems like all the boxing historians can really think of saying is that the era was a letdown, floyd a smart business man when it comes to picking opponents and that his out of the ring resume is filled with battered women. And hey...im,not selling you anything...get out of the comment sections trying to find like minded ppl to nod your head to and actually read stuff ok. Thanks and goodbye don king-matlock lmao

It was also apparent that when you mentioned his lesser opponents Pacquiao name was not included. I wonder why that is. Lololololol . I’m not going to argue with a man I don’t know or try and convince him of my thinking. Your viewpoint will not harper you in anyway so crack on. Whether Mayweather gets credit from Steven Mccowan is of little consequence to me. I’m sure there are articles that will look favourably on Mayweather. You just pick which ever represents your feeling towards him. Mayweather is a big boy he can defend himself. You take care Steven

Lesser names with pacquiao? The guy and mayweather were the two most popular guys of that era. He was named fighter of the decade. For the rest of our lives when ppl speak of one of them they will also say they didnt fight when both were at their peak. It aint me man, its reality. All i saying is there gonna be a big fuss when ppl go 50-0 now and itll happen more and more im,sure. And imo mayweathers best attrubute was being very consistant, lots of those guys coulda beat or lost against each other but when they fought mayweather he was always top shelf prepared and thats something that should never get overlooked. Thats pretty freakish in boxing. Guys get lazy or overlook opponents. I not saying he wasnt great in his era. And yeah he dont give a fook what i think anymore than this new 50-0 guy gives a fook what you think haha. Its just entertainment

Hhhmm , I get the impression you are still trying to convince me? Ok I actually box not that that means anything and not that I box at any high level but for me I measure a guy on his skill set and level of opponents fought........ wait I wasn’t bothered about you a minute ago.......oh your good Steven you dangled a carrot ..... ok I will oblige. Like I was saying a fighters skill set is paramount to me. So let’s assume Mayweather ‘s opponents were not top quality .However, where his resume lacks ( which honestly is ludicrous) He makes up for it with the The notable names that he did beat . As their wins and career highs should boost his.Could I be audacious to say he is a fighter that got hit the least amount of times in 50 fights ? Or am I reaching? Imagine being a knock out merchant then having to adjust the way you fight because you have brittle hands. For 11 years the whole time he put On a 12 round clinic and was barely hit. He was fitter than everyone his IQ in the ring was higher than everyone else’s and every fight he was outweighed by each of his opponents by minimum 7 lbs. Don’t get me wrong I wish he would keep his mouth closed from time to time and stop hating on fighters outside the TMT banner but you can’t deny his excellence in the ring. As I said earlier I’m not really bothered what you think.

This fight needs to happen. The WBC will sanction it, and there'll be a TBE belt on the line.

Every fight he was outweighed? Lol. Ummm.. Thats wrong. Plus i thought the i.v. use for "rehydration" killed the "walk around at 140 bs (i guess not right?). Its easier to outbox flat footed fighters and old guys. And i am in a boxing gym 4 days a week. Got two kids that box at young age and i help others with drills. Doesnt mean if i tell you that david tua was the greatest hw of all
That i would be correct lol. You dont have to be bothered by what i think. And im,not sure how you are getting some impression that i am trying to convince you lol. Maybe your intuition is dead. I made a small comment and you came up like you had something important to say and that i was wrong. You didnt...and i wasnt. Pretty simple...case closed. And bye bye now ok

A small comment?? A blasphemous statement. It’s like saying 400 years of slavery was not slavery but a choice. It’s a dangerous world we live in and if you repeated those words in the dangerous ******s in London such as Oxford street and Knightsbridge even Sloane Square . You might not make it out alive.

You have 2 sons that box that must be pretty cool I’m a dad so I know how you feel when your son takes a active part in sport. Good luck with that and no hard feelings
