No one is turning down $20 million to pay a currupt organization for an insignificant (for GGG) belt.

His "fans" think he should risk making $20 million, then turn around and pay 50k (not sure what the fee is) to the ibf?

The IBF is not corrupt. Name an incident of IBF corruption since they were put under watch by the U.S. Government? They're the only body that follows their rules to the letter. Ya'll complain when they follow their rules to the letter then turn around and call them corrupt. Stop it. The other sanctioning orgs need to be put under watch by the U.S. govt.

I think you got it right the first time. Jacobs will wait it out, Charlo (pbc) and Derevychenko (Dibella/pbc) will meet in August for the IBF. Then Jacobs will be sitting as both the WBA and WBC mandatory.

Yup! Sounds about right... And If Charlo wont fight Derevy then Jacob's would gladly fight him in fall for that #1 Spot. Winner would hopefully fight winner of GGG/Canelo

Jacobs didn't wanna fight for the IBF title against GGG and I doubt he will want to fight for it now knowing he'd have to meet the second day weigh in requirements.

What? Canelo could fight BJS, Jacobs, or Charlo, and still crack 1 milliin buys.

He sold 1 million for Jr. and that was a mismatch Lol if he fights a live body, it sells period.

$1m buys with BJS, Jacobs, or Charlo? Cmon, you know better than that. Those are not 1m ppv buy fights.

Again, that was not in their agreement. The sanctioning organization cannot obligate fighters in the agreement to take specific future action in the sanctioning of their contest.

That's why there was a separate agreement for Cotto and GGG.

Did GGG ever get Cotto's step aside $$$???

GGG fights this weekend and there's still a bunch of tickets left. Add to that he's making around 1 million for this fight. If the roles were reversed, Canelo would have sold out the StubHub by now and would be getting way more than 1 million for a fight. Canelo could fight anyone else and still make over 10 million while GGG would only make around 2 million to fight anyone else.

If the roles were reversed, Canelo would be fighting Deneryanchenko and not Martiroysan, to get the mandatory out of the way and give the fans the fight they want (By the way Martiroysan is a VERY good fighter, I don't think he beats GGG, but his only losses were a split decision to Andrade and close decisions to Jermell Charlo and Lara who he also fought to a draw) That said for the rest of Canelo's career he will fight on May and September against whoever is considered the biggest threat to him, GGG, Both Charlos, Andrade, Hurd, Deveryanchenko, Saunders whoever, Canelo will fight 2 times a year against whoever is considered THEE Top Threat, The Monster in Canelo's division he wants his legacy to be he fought everyone and never avoided/ducked anyone, Canelo will not waste time fighting 2nd tier fighters like Spike O' Sullivan. Lemueix etc.

Definitely not corrupt. I agree with their strict rulings. It's needed.

I'm all for fairness. Though it sucks that GGG is involved in this, it's totally fair. You have multiple belts, you'll have multiple obligations - if you want to keep your belt.
