I think Calzaghe would beat both guys easily. However, Hopkins looked great at 175, he could easily drop to 168, or Joe could hop up to 175. I think that would be a great fight, but it won't happen. Calzaghe's coming off a huge win, but I'm afraid he's going to go back to fighting lackluster competition. I'd love to see B-Hop step in there with him, but at the same time, Bernard might as well retire, and go out on top. Since that fight won't happen, let's see Calzaghe-Kessler or Joe C. vs. Glen Johnson, whom Hopkins destroyed years ago, and would at present.
and the thread title is CALZAGHE VS WINKY. we are not DEBATING HOPKINS...

I haven't seen enough of Joe to give an honest, accurate opinion. I've only seen the Lacy fight.

I do have a question though, to those who reside in the UK. Who's more popular / famous Joe or Ricky?

Did anyone read Frank Warrens column on sunday? sounds like he is pulling for a fight with Hopkins. Though he admitted basically that he wished Tarver won because it would have been an easy fight to make.

This more of a fantasy match up.

But I'll give PROPS to Winky for having the balls of just even mentioning Joe's name. The beating that Winky will get will probably put his two feet back into the ground.

people that say that size difference doesn't matter are idiots, Joe is at least two weight classes bigger than Wright. Joe could do whatever he wanted, even if he wasn't getting through, Joe would be the aggressor for every minute of every round from one through to 12. Winky might make 12 rounds because he is defensive genius, but he has **** all chance of winning.
