    Jacobs made the proper weight

only the IBF require a same-day weigh in

all of the great champions who represented the WBA/WBA/WBO.... you think they never made the " proper " weight?

it is only the IBF who do that

Whatever. He sure as hell didn't come in @ LHW against Sulecki. But he did against Golovkin. I wonder why?

just a guess, could be wrong......

        1) the conditions were exactly the same, so I am guessing that he weighed exactly the same..... likely little/no difference

        2) piling on weight does not help bro..... could it technically give you a little extra punch resistance..... maybe..... but more likely a shot that would put you away, will put you away, regardless..... you want to be light, and sharp, to be at your best.....

        3) the notion that Jacobs gave Golovkin problems because of the perception that he gained EXTRA weight being the difference between a standard weighin and the IBF same-day weighin..... is hilarious to me

        * Jacobs weighed exactly the same as he always weighed
        * Golovkin knocks out heavyweights in sparring, but now a couple of pounds has turned Danny Jacobs into a monster?
        * many past middleweights have been bigger than Jacobs, would all of those guys also give Golovkin fits?
        * what about all that talk of 168, Froch, Hopkins, Jack, Chudinov, Ramirez..... what about them?

how was he going to handle Ward, who would have monstered him?..... and is waaaaay better than Danny Jacobs?

          Not so fast

Sorry, it was a competitive fight, but GGG clearly beat satellite dish ears. You can't say you overpowered a guy when he knocked you down and you never even hurt him. Nonsense. Jacobs gets a lot of credit cause he did better than expected, but let's not get carried away. A lot of jokers on here say Jacobs won. They want it to be true so badly, they believe it. That's where Jacobs is. Jacobs did well and deserves respect, but he didn't win, and it wasn't close. Big Tony says so.

Ward is more protected than Jacobs, better? Based on what?
Ward doesn't tend to fight clean, but when he is forced to we all seen what happened with him and Kovalev and that is in part due to Kovalev constantly stuffing his constant clinches.
Hell even in the fight with Barrera, Ward was being constantly tagged.

Its just a shame that Ward can't fight within the rules like Jacobs can do which in my opinion that's all the evidence I need to know which fighter is better.

so, let me get this straight genius.....

you don't think Andre Ward has proven that he is better than Jacobs?

oh my god you have said some dumb shht in this thread

IF, Danny loses his next fight..... you clowns will have to admit that Murray is Golovkin's best win..... which will really fcuk up your cool stories, bro
