I agree Jacobs need to move on but he did fight a close fight. The people that thought Golovkin won can hardly come up with more than six rounds to give him. So you have the glancing punch, trip, slip KD as the difference. If this is the case then why shouldn't Jacobs hang on to that? He showed that Golovkin is not invincible, and now you have people chomping at the bits to capitalize on his success. People are so eager to fight him Vanes took the fight on 2 weeks notice with a 2 year lay off. What happened to people being scared to get in the ring with him? If Vanes does well or God forbid lasts 12 rounds that whole Golovkin invincibility myth is gone. Jacobs was the first to show it ain't what it's made out to be.

On a side note the punch stats were clearly not accurate Jacobs likely never landed that much, I mean we have people sad enough to actually watch fights in slow motion to 100% confirm statistics, but we sadly have casual fantards like yourself who like to call a triangle a square.
