Originally Golden Boy Promotions had planned on being in Las Vegas this week where the rematch between Saul Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin was scheduled for the T-Mobile Arena on May 5th. But that event was scrapped a few weeks ago as Alvarez was suspended by the Nevada Athletic Commission for six months for testing positive for clenbuterol.

If it's not Canelo, GB doesn't really care to promote their fighters. Oscar putting out there for fighters to sign with him cause he will make them stars yet doesn't mention his other fighters. Linares has a big fight next weekend against Loma, but all you here from GB is crickets. GB and Oscar could careless about Linares career.

I don't think they have enough talent in his division for that to happen.

Vargas won the IBF at 14-0 vs Campas (legend) and made him quit on his stool. Sadly, Campas is still fighting btw.

Then it was Raul Marquez, Quartey, Tito, Rivera, Hoya and Mosely. That's a pretty tough string of fights.
