I've always been a fan of Mayweather promotions giving their fighters great oppurtunities to become champions but I gotta be honest here, this has been one of the worst promoted fight I've seen in recent years. This is a TREMENDOUS fight between 2 champions and nobody knows about it. How are these 2 guys getting paid if nobody pays for the fight? and I'm sure both are getting paid very well to fight each others. WHERE the hell is the money coming from and why is there NO promotion?

Great point. I love the opportunities Floyd gives his guys too, but the promotion of said events ultimately does them no to lil good. Gotta have a two pronged attack here. I mean Stevenson vs Jack should DEFINITELY be getting more hype then its getting.

I totally agree with you, this is a massive fight for Jack. I would expect more noise from his promotional side, why? Because Jack himself is not a talker much like Anthony Joshua, so you need to put your promoter coat on and help propel his name/sell the fight. From Adonis side this is normal, I rarely see much noise for his fights.

and the fact that I spent about 20 minutes scouring the internet for tickets on the ticketmaster site, etc. etc. and having to get helped on here...Jesus what a **** show this event is lol.

LOL, but yea thats a bad look when a fight is 3 weeks away & its a champ vs a champ who are....what maybe top 5 in the division & for sure top 10 in the division. This is basic promotion sh^t & something Mayweather Promotions/Ellerbe needs to figure out sooner rather than later.

TBH, I kinda don't care. Jack isn't compelling and Stevenson is on his way out so it's whatever. I'd like to have seen Kovalev, Ward, Beterbeiv, or even Alvarez be the one to take him out but I don't even care anymore. I just want the division to move on and I don't see Jack being able to hang with Kov, Beterbeiv, the Nail, or Bivol. I'm not sure if Jack beats Barrera.

Badou was the #1 guy at 168 before he moved up and probably has the best resume of any fighter the last 2 -3 years and Stevenson is probably #1 by default since Ward retired

It’s no worse then 2 of the top 3 guys in the division ( Bivol hasn’t really beaten anyone and Beterbiev is so inactive )

I was gonna drive up from nj to see it at Montreal when it was originally announced, for the fight but also just to visit Montreal again. Guess it ll have to be the next decent Canada show.
