Both Wilder and Joshua may be flawed but they would've beaten these ARG HWs

    1. Holyfield - Holyfield lost to great super HWs like Lewis and Bowe. Neither Joshua or Wilder are on Bowe and Lewis's level but they are both physically stronger and more athletic than either was. Against Wilder, I expect Wilder to KO Holyfield unconscious. Against Joshua, I expect a war buy Joshua will stop him due to being the bigger, stronger, man.

    2. Tommy Morrison - Morrison has always been overrated. He beat an old George Foreman but lost to Mercer, Bent, and Lewis. He did nothing in his career to convince me that he could hang with Wilder and Joshua. Both stop Tommy rather easy.

    3. Jack Dempsey - Dempsey was a beat in his era but would be LHW in this era. He is just too small and couldn't handle the athleticism and power of both Joshua and Wilder. Athletes have gotten better since Dempsey's era.

    4. Tunney - Same examination of Dempsey. Different era.

    5. Tua - Great puncher but just too small.

    6. Joe Frazier - Great puncher but too small.

    7. Mike Tyson. Tyson is seen as this unstoppable monster but he never defeated a fighter as good as both Wilder and Joshua except Razor. Wilder and Joshua would be too big and would use their physicality to stop Tyson.

This is all I can think about now.

Wilder is a Haymon paper champ

A bum cherry picker who was saved by the ref in his last fight and is now ducking Joshua

Yes they would probably beat Morrison and Tua but few fans think of those two as outstanding heavyweights. Dempsey had no trouble knocking out Willard who was 6 foot 7 inches and 250 pounds and a rugged, tough champion. He broke Willard's jaw and knocked his teeth out. He might have done the same to Wilder or AJ as they are not that hard to hit and don't have iron chins. I would pick a prime Tyson and a prime Holyfield to beat both of them. They were much faster and threw about twice as many punches per round as AJ and Wilder. They were just better. Wilder weighed 214 last fight. Tyson was never lighter than a rock hard 217 pounds and usually more than that. Holyfield was lighter but strong as a bull. They wouldn't be over powered. AJ and Wilder are good but not great heavyweights. I think both of them will lose a fight or two in the next few years.

I somewhat agree with your assessments on the other HW, am on the fence with Tua but prime Holyfield or prime Tyson beats Joshua or Wilder. For one, it takes more than being big and strong to beat the Real deal, you actually have to be skilled or be a 'SON OF A GUN' in that ring. For those two HW, you referenced, Lennox was highly skilled and Bowe in those fights especially the first one was a GUN. Joshua/Wilder will rate average in those two areas. Holyfield not being rated a murderous puncher might see this go longer or go the distance but if Takam or Ortiz could have success, I reckon the real deal will be able to do more.

Now in the case of Prime Tyson, this is not even a close fight. Tyson gets a lot of flack for the competition he faced but Tyson was so underrated and might be the most skilled heavyweight in the history of boxing. The guy did everything exceptionally well and moved like a middleweight. Tyson will be too quick for Joshua's robotic and predictable one-two. I reckon Joshua might have success with his upper cut in key moments but Tyson's bobbing and weaving will land him an opportunity eventually and when he does, he will make his presence felt. Not too many home run hitters with rare combo of speed and power and punch selection in the history of boxing like primed Tyson. In the case of Wilder, Tyson will simply break his ribs and get to his chin that way, plain and simple. These guys will have their moments against either fighter but both will find home for their money punch eventually.
