End of the day GGG had a chance to move up and fight a P4P Ranked higher than him and didn't. Even at almost like 50 years old Hopkins fought Kovalov.

Fact #2! GGG has NEVER been an underdog in a fight. Hopkins has! NUMEROUS times and even a HUGE dog.Comment

Again, your not following the argument of GGG. He is specifically talking about fighters they both faced during their “20 title defenses at middleweight”, period. Not anyone they both fought before or after the 20 title defenses. Look at Hopkins “20 title defenses from the time he won the title to the time he lost to Jermain Taylor. In “those 20 specific title fights” who did Hopkins beat notably in the middleweight division. During his 20 title defenses. He beat fighters like Joppy, Holmes, Echols, Allen, Johnson, Jackson, and others that aren’t world beaters. And (2) blown up welterweights Trinidad & De La Hoya. When he actually got in the ring against a real middleweight with a little talent, Jermain Taylor, his run at successful title defenses ended. Again, Hopkins “overall” faced better opposition than GGG over his entire career but the article is specifically about their 20 title defenses because GGG is tying that record in his next fight.Last edited by markther; 05-01-2018, 06:55 PM.Comment

Hopkins beat Taylor in the first fight
and the second was verrry close
Golovkin is up against it because his best win is scraping past Danny Jacobs, who was a huge underdogComment
