Difference is that Brook jumped from 147 to 160 with no fights. Tito proved himself to be a HOF at 147 and 154. Most folks are factoring in that Hopkins fought Tito and DLH at 157 and 156 respectively as well as the fact that both were known as skilled technicians.

referring to Trinidad as a welter is ridiculous nonsense

      really ridiculous

whilst it may be possible to belittle some of Hopkins/Golovkin's opponents..... Trinidad is not one of them..... he was a 3/1 favorite in that fight

after Tito knocked out Joppy, nobody gave Hopkins a chance

Canelo and Jacobs do count (even if you think Jacobs beat Golovkin, because it is in the book..... you have to assume Hopkins got similarly favorable decisions, and he did)..... but the first 11 defences of the regular title is the problem imho
You know I dont role like that! You make the weight your that weight.

I was just knocking them for trying not to counts a bunch of GREAT wins/fights Hops did.

How about a SD with HOFamer S. MW Calzaghe??

And RJJ should make it as a L. HW.

Ok, if it’s just names then yeah hopkins is better, but if you take into account successful defenses, I lean towards ggg

Right. I don't think context is the forte of the Golovkin fan boys (not to confuse them with boxing fans who are fans of Golovkin).

All 3 judges (even guy who gave GGG the win) gave Canelo 1, 2, 10, 11, and 12.
