Povetkin doesn't want one cast off WBA belt when he could have the payday fight against AJ and a chance at all of them.
Miller isnt ranked in the WBC , hes not an option for Wilder .

No, perhaps I've been unclear in my wording. It's Hearn who is saying Miller is an option for Joshua, as per the original post in the thread.

He's saying to Povetkin and Wilder's negotiating teams, we have a third option, so you can't play one off against the other.

Do you habitually refuse to meet with principals from your business partners or even discuss questions they may have regarding your proposals? If so, you're unlike any business person I've ever come across.

You have a double standard in operation which you won't or can't acknowledge. You pillory Hearn for his disrespectful antics in the press, rightly in my view, because his actions have done nothing to ensure good faith between the parties, but then you give Wilder's side a pass for their equally if not greater breaches of basic good practice in negotiation.

It's rank hypocrisy, but you seem to lack the insight to even recognise it.
All these idiots claiming to be BUSINESS men are really exposing themselves on here ,.

Ive never seen such dummies come out of the wood work by claiming you agree to a set position without seeing any details .

Hearn is going to make a counterproposal and then the ball will be back on Wilder to respond. It's not dead yet.
They will strip Joshua for not fighting Povetkin though? That is surely significant if true and the main thing I can see preventing it (if they cannot offer him to step aside and a shot vs the winner).

That $50 million offer isn't random they mentioned that figure because AJ did. Otherwise they might as well have mentioned $200 million. It's just petty gamesmanship.

Tbh AJ should just come out and say yeah again. Obviously he'd fight him for $50 mill in Wilder's living room with Wilder's Mother as ref. The Hearns are obviously slippery but if someone was employing you for your 10% and you just 'accepted' that offer blindly what exactly is your employer (AJ) paying you for?

Yep. And also, I guess HURTFEELINGS doesn't realize 50 million $$ is something to any and everybody.

I wonder how much of the $50 m Wilder has recently acquired (I assume it's his as apart from A.J. nobody has laid claim to it) will he be offering Breazale for their superfight in Alabama .
Deontay needs to get real and get rid of these idiots around him.He should be a household name in America instead they are turning him in to a laughing stock .I feel quite sorry for him and I mean it.It is he who is putting his life on the line here and he should be getting a much better deal for fights than he is.

I don't know how these guys on this forum think, but no one, and I mean no one offers up a contract before both parties agree to commence negotiation based on certain base agreements.

I believe the sequence, vaguely, goes something like this:

                    1. Agree to the fight
                    2. Negotiate and Finalize terms
                    3. Draw up the contract
                    4. affix signatures

What Team Wilder did was in fact, setup and start the terms for negotiation - no contract was needed at this point, nor could one exist without certain agreements being in place.

All this constant back and forth on the forum is entertaining, but quite fruitless.

Hearn wants to control this event from top to bottom and that's not what Team Wilder offered. Hearn knows better than anyone on this forum, that Haymon can deliver that cash. But that would mean giving up control and if AJ does lose, then Hearn wouldn't be in a position to dictate anything going forward.

Hence, the smokescreen comments and new and improved offer that's coming Wilder's way.

Some of you guys should know how this works by
                    now.
Exactly! If Hearn believed he called Wilder's bluff, then why on Earth would he draft up a "new and improved" offer for Wilder? It's like you said, it's all about controlling the money and the fight.
