Yeah I thought that too, I also took this PR as a negotiation tactic to Wilder to say ‘we’re gonna make you a new offer, but don’t get greedy or we’ll take a another option’Comment

Who is wilder ? Most of his fans didn’t even know he was till he beat bermane stiverne and started calling out Joshua if not for that they were probably the ones saying that wilder was fighting bums that his chin was suspect Now all of a sudden his this great fighter please this guy is probably the worst current champion and one of the worst champions ever who has wilder really fought? Nothing but old fat guys bermane was trash and Ortiz his best win never even got a tittle shot against wilder. Ortiz was never on AJ or Parker’s or klistcko level at allComment

Miller is not an option at all. AJ will be stripped for not fighting Povetkin. That doesn't make a Wilder fight bigger.
These dudes have a perfect storm...one fight for undisputed, that most people want to see. Fighting Big Titty Miller, while being stripped of a title, doesn't help that.
Team AJ will either fight Povetkin or Wilder next. You dudes will believe anything somebody with a last name of Hearn says.
ETA: the guy's been offered 50 million dollars, you think beating Big Titty Miller makes him how much more?
I've never went to buy a car and a salesman came running out the dealership waiving a contract before I even chose or stated that I wanted a certain car. (Doesn't happen!)
I don't know how these guys on this forum think, but no one, and I mean no one offers up a contract before both parties agree to commence negotiation based on certain base agreements.
I believe the sequence, vaguely, goes something like this:
1. Agree to the fight
2. Negotiate and Finalize terms
3. Draw up the contract
4. affix signatures
What Team Wilder did was in fact, setup and start the terms for negotiation - no contract was needed at this point, nor could one exist without certain agreements being in place.
All this constant back and forth on the forum is entertaining, but quite fruitless.
Hearn wants to control this event from top to bottom and that's not what Team Wilder offered. Hearn knows better than anyone on this forum, that Haymon can deliver that cash. But that would mean giving up control and if AJ does lose, then Hearn wouldn't be in a position to dictate anything going forward.
Hence, the smokescreen comments and new and improved offer that's coming Wilder's way.
Some of you guys should know how this works by now.Comment

Also, forget the $50m, you guys will believe anything Wilder says, there is no real offer for $50m, it was a negotiation tactic to get Hearn to up his offer and it’s worked because it’s exaclty what they’ll do.
In this entire mix is Brezeale, will he take some step aside money or will there be a new load of BS that means AJ
Fights someone in between because Wilder already had a contract with Brezeale, which sounds quite likely.Comment

Miller is no.1 choice. He has been for a LONG time. Why do you think he's on Hearn's shows with Jacobs, and why do you think he keeps trying to get Whyte Wilder on instead of the unification fight.
All this other talk is garbage. Hearn's been lining this up for ages and the 'offers' to Wilder are just smokescreens.Comment

Wilder will fight Breazeale next, Joshua will fight Miller at Barclays and then they will probably fight at the end of the year in the UK (if not, Vegas) and try and put it on dual PPV.
Zero chance it happens next.Comment

who has parker beaten that makes him an elite fighter? hes no bum but i guarantee you if wilder beat him hed be one. but seriously what makes you put parker so far ahead of ortiz? they are both good fighters but please stop it. Klitz is AJs best win (I wont even bring up age and inactivity and him already losing to fury and struggling with average HWs) outside of Klitz hes beat a few decent HWs but no HW is anything to brag about as a victory outside of AJ and Wilder. AJ has the better resume but why do you all act like hes beaten all these elite level fighters when there hardly isnt any?Comment
