if lil'G thought that he could beat Ward..... he would not have embarrassed himself by demanding a catchweight of 164..... and then he would not have refused that fight in 36 minutes flat

btw, 36 minutes is coincidentally the same amount of time it takes to hold a boxing match

What’s interesting is that Barrera threw 263 more punches than Ward in the fight. What this means is that Ward can be dramatically outworked by his opponents.'

Threw 263 more punches, but landed 55 fewer...and landed 15%...yeah right, you don't really believe he threw 263 more and landed 55 fewer do you dude?

of course I do you fkn idiot, I watched the fight

He was not ducking anyone, he left the weight class after a long layoff for bigger and better things and JayZ’s Roc Nation got him on national tv for this first fight back.

In terms of punch stats, this is pro boxing not the amateurs. Ward was beating Kov’s behind hitting him with hard hurtful punches. It was obvious Ward was doing more damage.
So now Ward punches harder than Kovalev, got it. Kov won rounds by 6, 5, 5, and 7 punches. Surely you give him all 4 of those rounds?

Lol - Ward has outstanding defense :0. He was never as slick as Mayweather, gtfoh. Ward always got hit about as much as he hit you. And often times he was outworked. Watch the fights again - what round was the knockdown? The low blow? Who got the low blow? Quick no cheating

He beat Canelo in my eyes, but beating Ward? I really doubt it. Id put my money on Ward outboxing him

Ward was punching harder than Kov that second fight. I don’t know what training Kov did, but his shots had nothing on them and he was gassed out after the 4th round. He changed trainers after the second Ward fight. One could see it would be a ko win for Ward.
