My respect for Jacobs he gave GGG a good fight, but when team of top trainers and skipping weigh-ins still isn't enough. GGG the champion came to fight while the much bigger 180+ challenger Jacobs came to survive. Numbers clearly show that GGG landed more and landed the harder punches and also was the Ring General while some of the American media tries to manipulate the uneducated viewer. SMH.
your " ring general "..... couldn't do ****
he went life and death with a guy who he was supposed to kill
can you say..... over-rated ?Comment

I watched the Barrera/Bika fights though...did you? Ward was a great tough smart fighter. But not a very good boxer. He put no separation between himself and any other good fighter. But he was tough to look good against.
Watch those fights again (or for the first time, Ward has no real fans so no one actually watched his fights.)Comment

'Ward connected on 166 of 463 punches for a connect percentage of 36%, according to CompuBox. For his part, Barrera landed 111 of 722 punches for a low connect percentage of 15%. What’s interesting is that Barrera threw 263 more punches than Ward in the fight. What this means is that Ward can be dramatically outworked by his opponents.'
Threw 263 more punches, but landed 55 fewer...and landed 15%...yeah right, you don't really believe he threw 263 more and landed 55 fewer do you dude?Comment

Sorry my man, but Ward never fought at 168 ever again after Edwin Rodriguez. He fought Paul Smith on BET at 172 if I recall, but he was moving up in weight to go take Kov’s 0 and belts. He was not ducking anyone, he left the weight class after a long layoff for bigger and better things and JayZ’s Roc Nation got him on national tv for this first fight back.I...I can't help this one....you are too far gone man haha.
1) why do you agree with Ward dropping his belt against Anthony Dirrell?
http://www.mlive.com/sports/flint/in..._interest.html
2) why do you think a guy who is up 5-2 (sorry 6-1!) on punch stats is not winning a fight?

In terms of punch stats, this is pro boxing not the amateurs. Ward was beating Kov’s behind hitting him with hard hurtful punches. It was obvious Ward was doing more damage.Comment
