For me if you're a champion you are basically A-level with a few exceptions. If you are a top contender you are basically B level.

many (Monroe/Wade, and even Stevens) were plucked out of obscurity

and no, that is not how the grading system works

that system does not allow for a poor era

you guys who view Stevens as a genuine top10 contender, because of the state of the middleweight division at that particular time..... are dreaming

your level does not change because of your surroundings

it was a devastating loss, one that will affect his career going forward

It has nothing to do with CuckG. Jacobs just isn't that good. Solid guy, no doubt, but he's a B- guy.

What does that mean? It means CuckG is a B guy. He might be a B+ on his best night, but he's just a B level fighter no matter how many Wades, Monroe Jr., or Vanes he fights.

He got hit way too much for my liking but I will give him the benefit of the doubt ( maybe naively)and say because he didn’t respect his opponents power. Having said that when he gassed towards the end and was running on empty he was swinging and missing by a country mile. His opponent though was a lot better than many thought and I hope Sulecki goes on to be a force and people will then credit this win because for me he is better than GGG opponent

Wade was a mandatory.
Stevens had won 8/9 fights.
Monroe had one loss to Darnell Boone.

that fight was eventually mandated by the WBA, and Team Bull**** did their very best to kill it by refusing to negotiate fairly and then calling for an early purse bid
