He wobbled him 6 more times I thought it was 5 ? Ward also ducked GGG as he moved up to face Kovalev because he knew GGG emergence into the super middleweight division was imminent. 3 years later we are still waiting for GGG not to move up but to fight the live wires in his division

more likely that Jacobs went into the fight with a different mindset

there could be some truth in that he fights down to his opponents level..... but I think that when he knew Sulecki could not hurt him, he attempted to make the fight more exciting for fans..... following on from the uninspiring Arias fight

he would be sharp vs a Canelo/Saunders/Charlo type opponent
Sharper for sure. I'm a fan of Jacobs but his performances are all over the map.

I have love for Danny Jacobs, but he was getting hit with straight right hands all night! Sulecki was just too light in the azz! Jacobs walked though him, and I can't see him walking through Charlo, GGG, or Canelo! I can see Jacobs out-boxing Murata, so I highly suggest going to Japan, making that money, and performing on a high-level! If he can't beat Murata, he's finished!

Sulecki was better than people thought.

Have you seen Ward lately? Big man scared of Golovkin.

I love Abel's trolling...but honestly it's smart too. Puts some doubt in the minds of some of these young guys who seem ready to face GGG. Now they will at least give thought to the idea that they will take career changing punishment against GGG. True or not it is a good mind-game for team GGG to play.

After the GGG Danny fight I honestly was worried about Danny; I heard some videos of him and his speech sounded slurry. But maybe he was just drunk or nervous during those interviews. He seems fine now. I watched the first half of the Sulecki fight and I thought Danny looked fine. Sulecki is a tough guy who can take a punch, and he can box. Some stuff Danny hit him with early would have KOd someone not as tough. Most guys (Arias) wouldn't have the stones to actually try and trade with Danny like that.

And I agree Wade sucks - but he hasn't even fought since that GGG fight. GGG broke Brook's face. Monroe and Lemieux don't seem any different. Murray Geale and Stevens all never really looked the same to me after the GGG fight. Especially Stevens and Geale. Adama basically retired after the GGG fight. Ishida Rubio and Macklin were all old, but GGG basically retired all of those guys too. Rosado took a good beating but still looks about the same to me. Proska was a young talented guy and GGG basically retired him after their fight.

And the only guy who actually tried to go to war with GGG (and was really successful) - Ouma, he broke Ouma's jaw and Ouma basically retired, didn't fight again after that fight for 2.5 years. That's either a lot of coincidences or GGG does dish out a lot of career changing punishment.

Sulecki isnt as wide as Jacobs, narrower shoulders, thinner lighter bones, maybe longer but the structure is more fragile

GGG did hurt him at the end of rounds 7 8 and 9. And rounds 4 and 5 Danny was basically just a punching bag for GGG. Even when you land clean on GGG he never really takes a step back, so it's hard to tell if you even got to him honestly.
