you might think that canelo being the younger guy it might go towards him, especially if it is put off till next may, if its this year i think golovkin takes it

      50/50 again. The variables are:

      1. Does Canelo's stamina improve?

      2. Does GGG slow down any on the downside of his career?

I'll give a slight edge to GGG. If it goes to the scorecards, I think Canelo will have the judges' edge, especially if the fight is in Las Vegas.

For one, his jab is still the best weapon in this fight.
Two, he wasn't as aggressive as he should have been, it's a trend that started with Jacobs. He was very tentative the first 3 rounds. There were times when Canelo was on the ropes/corner and Golovkin tentatively attacked and backed off. He should have taken more risks and attacked like he usually does. Wayy too afraid to get countered.
Three - he wasn't successful at the body attack and Canelo still got tired. Now that he knows what to expect, he can close the distance better and hit Canelo's body.
Four - he's in visibly better shape for the rematch than he was for the first one. He looked doughy less than 2 months out of the first fight, and he looked terrific this time. I expect him to be in GREAT shape for Vanes. If he can keep it up until Sep, his chances are better.

When it comes to Canelo, I don't see him being able to make lifechanging adjustments. He's not going to turn into Floyd over night. His adjustments will be slight improvements to speed, or to power. And it will be difficult to do both. His best chance would be to get more power and to counter Golovkin harder.
A trend?!? How about he fought to guys that have a good punch & hit him that's why lil g didn't go for the kill & got beat.

lil g CAN'T adjust period. He is a robot.

Actually Nelo got tired cuz he hit lil g with everything but couldn't knock him out so when Nelo got tired lil g then came forward more while still missing punches & catching them in the face & body.

I need them all in gifs.
Too bad Canelo missed 400 punches every round after 1 then.

ggg wins 8-4 on most cards and hes the underdog apparantly against someone who was likely on PEDS for the first fight? good old boxingscene, some clever guys on this forum lol, think i will listen to the bookies when it comes to whos the favourite rather than you lot.
