Again, this is my beef with the WBA! Castano has been the "Regular" champion @ 154 since November 2016!

WBA to order Erislandy Lara vs. Brian Castano
    October 29, 2017:

"The WBA’s stated desire to reduce the number of belts in play has been...inconsistently enforced, to put it kindly. They’re still making an effort, though, and ESPN reports that the sanctioning body will order “Super” super welterweight champ Erislandy Lara to face “regular” champ Brian Castano."

What ever happened to that fight? Lara should've never been allowed to fight Yuri Foreman and Terrell Gausha! Now Hurd beat Lara in a unification, and instead of ordering Lara to face Castano, the order a rematch of Hurd vs. Lara! Nobody is going to fight an unknown (and dangerous) Argentinian if the WBA doesn't force the issue! Would Sadam Ali wouldn't be facing Munguia if Smith was healthy?

Lol why do people keep saying that Sulecki is a 154 lb fighter when hes only had 2 fights at the weight and mostly campaigned at MW and even SMW its crazy people will say anything to discredit someones win. Munguia is a huge 154 lber with power if Ali can box from the outside he can win a decision for sure with his speed but if Munguia clips him with his pressure he could put him out thats for sure if Vargas was able to so can Munguia

This card just got 100 times better. Ali is going to have a rough night and possible lose. He would have been better off postponing the fight with Smith.

Ali will be like Munguia's 29th fight. It's his first step up in all that time. Against a career welterweight. But Vitu sucks....

I'm not trying discredit anyone, I just think Sulecki would be better at 154! He was the WBC #1 Ranked Contender under Jermell Charlo! I think that would've been a better route for him! He can box, but he was obviously too light for Jacobs! He'll be the same for GGG, Canelo, and Jermall Charlo!

And Derevyanchenko and possibly Murata. I think he probably beats everybody else on points.

I think Ali takes it man. Munguia has fought the same style fighter his whole career and is still a prospect....

Munguia v Castano would be good

I agree with you Castano v Munguia would be a great fight so hopefully if Munguia wins this fight he can call out Castano at some point

Vitu is a sh.it is worst than Ali.

And Mungia has like 20 years old, Castaño and Vitu like 30.

That would be good, but Castano won't be a draw, so Munguia will look elsewhere, for a bigger name, and a bigger payday! Hopefully Charlo wins, and he and Hurd unify. Hurd will move to 160 after that, and then the WBA should order (again) Castano vs. Lara for the vacant WBA title!
