Sending a copy of an email u sent to another promoter isn't media whoring. Media whoring is when you talk to multiple sources, do multiple interviews in a short span. Every time Hearn has a camera or Mic in his face he has gone on with the same talking points from the very first interview. It seems as if he is more concerned with his public perception than he is with getting the fight done.

You do understand that as a promoter, Hearn has been on a week long program of media appearances to promote not only the Jacobs fight but also the upcoming Haye Bellew etc?

It's his job to speak to multiple media sources, do as many interviews as possible. As he's very good at his job there are a lot of media organisations queuing up to speak to him.

He's concerned about public perception because he understands that those perceptions feed directly into purchasing decisions or contribute to the brand value he's seeking to create in his fighters.

Finkel didnt request a contract and didnt even respond to Hearn .


The real question is why Finkel flat out refused a meeting he agreed too weeks in advance and even pushed it back pass the deadline they gave for their offer . lol ?

Team Wilder is giving Hearn no choice bc Joshua is telling him tp pursue this fight .

Hearn has to make a new offer that requires a higher % of whatever .

Hearn needs to do Finkels work for him bc hes incompetent and will have Joshua attract the U.S market now to give the fight a bigger profile , so Miller fits that step .

The biggest thing team Wilder has done so far for Wilders profile is USE Joshua and tell of a 50 Million dollar offer , not actual boxing matches . lol

Of course I agree but I think given Wilders 40-0 record and still not ever been PPV and earning peanuts in comparison.Something better or different needs to be done to raise his profile.

Finkel has run to the press with everything. He ran to the press with Hearns email that he'd get back to him. He ran to the press with Hearns offer. It's all PR.

Oh I understand that he was going to have to talk to the media. And I totally understand him trying to control the public perception. It's still media whoring though. Even if I get the logic. It's still counterproductive to making the Wilder fight when he insults other business men to please Joshua fans.

Every move Wilders team has made has involved the press first. Look how they made the damn offer. They didn't just send the offer they had Wilder releasing a video on Twitter saying the money is in the bag (then refused to show the bag when Hearn asked for proof of funds) while Finkel ran to the press at the same time. All a big PR stunt.
