Did I just read that Hearn said he will send team wilder a new offer ??? Isn’t this the same guys who questioned why wilders team didn’t send a contract for 50 million? So to clarify, per hearn, if wilders team was serious they would send a contract yet he is prepared to send his second offer ( no contract) to Wilder. How can anyone British or not AJ fan or not , defend this ???

You would have a point if:

The new offer is sent directly from Anthony Joshua's account, not one on which business is normally conducted.

The new offer contains spelling mistakes, inconsistent with the precision of language which characterises standard business communication.

The offer is sent via public social media channels including a video address to Wilder from Joshua and publicized in advance via journalists.

The offer expires in 24 hours.

The offer contains no details other than one deal point on revenue split.

Any requests for clarification or additional information are ignored.

Any request for a meeting to discuss any issues which may arise from the offer is ignored.

All private correspondence is leaked to journalists friendly to Hearn's side.


If all of that takes place then you will have a point, because it will be clear to all and sundry that Hearn is not negotiating in good faith and has no intention of making the fight.

Of course that won't happen. No serious business person would act in such an unprofessional way unless of course they had no intention of making the fight in the first place and were just trying to lay a public smokescreen to deceive their fanbase.

Sending a copy of an email u sent to another promoter isn't media whoring. Media whoring is when you talk to multiple sources, do multiple interviews in a short span. Every time Hearn has a camera or Mic in his face he has gone on with the same talking points from the very first interview. It seems as if he is more concerned with his public perception than he is with getting the fight done.
