Some of them are smart people, but they make the ****** choice to defer to a promoter for their script. Promoters are professional liars and hype men. You're never going to win an argument if you base your facts off of the BS a promoter spews. Embarrassingly bad choice and makes a lot of these cats look like clueless fanboys when they should know better. Hearn is no different than Arum or DLH.

Which is a perfectly solid position to take when discussing the fight game. As long as your consistent in application. So you don't get to dismiss everything from team Hearn without also doing the same for team wilder...

What the offer actually said was it was binding for 10 days only after which Hearn was free to make a new offer or not which is not the same thing.

Finkel meet Hearn and talk the deal out, if you don't like what he says fair enough but to not meet him is ******.

Higgins and Hearn went back and forth like this for ages but the true thing Hearn said was as soon as we both get in the same room the deal gets done quick and it did.
Higgins did have the fair excuse that it was a long way to travel if the meeting was non productive but Wilders lot just have to open the door as he was in NYC to meet them.

If Wilder has to fight Brezeale first .. ok but you could still sort it out for next fight now .. come on Wilder make a little effort to get this don, look no Whyte thats all you said you wanted I watched you say it .. straight next fight all you asked for .. lets go champ.
Exactly. And this is why Wilder’s team are looking so ridiculous. They are not willing to meet and thrash out a proper deal like businessmen. How many times have we heard this now?

Fair enough Eddie’s first offer was low-ball but everyone with half a brain knew it would be. (Wilder fans took it as a duck, but they would, wouldn’t they?) It was a starting point for negotiations from Hearn, nothing more. Same tactics as used in the Parker negotiations. Regardless there was nothing coming back from Wilder’s team.

Then the ridiculous 50m ‘counter offer’ comes through social media with an even more ridiculous 24-hour deadline, and zero information on the fight. And again, no ability to meet and negotiate. Despite Hearn trying desperately to do so.

Wilder fans have been all “just accept the offer and then discuss terms!” but unless I’m mistaken haven’t Joshua and Hearn done this several times? “Let’s roll”
            “We’re interested”
It’s pretty clear they are willing to talk and thrash this out and make a deal, but I don’t see how anyone can defend Wilder and his team when they are so reluctant to meet and actually make it happen? Everything on social media is just PR bull****, is this not totally obvious? The fights get made in boardrooms.

But somehow, according to Wilder fans, throwing a 50m offer out over social media with zero terms, no guarantee of the cash, and a 24 hour deadline is reasonable, whereas trying to actually meet and talk in order to get the fight agreed is unreasonable?

So, now it seems Hearn is trying once again. Whatever the offer ends up being, I see the issue again being Wilder’s team’s reluctance to actually meet and sort it out like real human beings. They’ll respond through the media without talking to Hearn and blame it all on Hearn.

Alright can we just get this sh^t done whatever % cut or how many mills we need to give each guy. Bout tired of hearing Breazeale & Big Baby being gifted title shots if these guys are'nt coming to a conclusion on making career high paydays.

Team Wilder is giving Hearn no choice bc Joshua is telling him tp pursue this fight .

Hearn has to make a new offer that requires a higher % of whatever .

Hearn needs to do Finkels work for him bc hes incompetent and will have Joshua attract the U.S market now to give the fight a bigger profile , so Miller fits that step .

The biggest thing team Wilder has done so far for Wilders profile is USE Joshua and tell of a 50 Million dollar offer , not actual boxing matches . lol

Frankly speaking as well, whatever Wilder gets paid in his other fights is none of Hearn's business. If he really wants the fight to get made he'll pay him an amount that reflects the fact that this is the only matchup involving either fighter that anybody really gives a damn about. Nobody seems to agree on how much money the fight will make so an agreed-upon percentage is only fair.
Your're probably right about the percentage, Wilder and his team have an overly inflated worth of themselves and Hearn will need to overpay them to secure the fight. And yes a percentage is always the fairest way to decide a fighters pay, if they add to the revenue they get paid more if they don't they get paid less.

Yes Wilder is undefeated and his career at the moment does have some momentum in the right direction. But that momentum is built off the possibility of a Joshua fight. Before Joshua came along Wilder was a figure of derision.

Joshua does have options beyond Wilder. While it's the fight everyone wants the most, Joshua has another huge fight against Fury that is a possibility. In regards to money Joshua makes huge money vs everyone, fights with Povetkin, Fury, WBSS winner, would all sell well and do over 1 mill PPV buys in the UK as Hearn has stated Joshua does over 1 mill PPV's every fight now.

Fact is Wilder needs Joshua far more than Joshua needs Wilder. If this fight doesn't happen, Joshua will continue to make 10 times as much as Wilder per fight if not more and all roads will still all lead to Joshua.

Wilder on the other hand while he wouldn't fall into obscurity would just become another title holder again. And then there is of course the possibility he loses and then he loses all his leverage for any decent paydays. Even if Joshua loses he'll still be a PPV draw as UK fans tend to be a loyal bunch. Look at Haye, he's clearly shot or close to it yet is a PPV draw in the UK and will make more money vs Bellew than Wilder will ever make against anyone not named Joshua.

Wilder has some leverage against Joshua but if he over plays his hand he's in danger of letting his one chance of making a huge payday slip out of his grasp.

If I do that, feel free to comment on it but all I get from fanboys is "you'd better be consistent" without them ever catching me being inconsistent. They have to lie in order to "catch" me but never have an actual post to quote.

Wilder's promoter isn't the one media whoring and constantly trying to manipulate the fanbase via social media. Even Miller is calling him out on his bullshyt. When DiBella talks bullshyt I call him on it too. Don't you worry. Did the same for Oscar, Bob, Mayweather, etc.

So... apparently the 50 million guarantee was real.. an now he has to rethink the lie he told everyone in the U.K.. and offer a 2nd deal.. when he knew 12.5 was shyte in the first place. I ask again.. why is wilder having to jump through so many hoops to unify.. fight whyte, give me 50 million guarantee, come to the u.k.. Povetkin was rioded to the gills when Wilder was on his way to Russia.. I don't know why U.K Fans are so lame.. if wilder sent AJ 12.5 million offer.. we would have turned on him too.. American is cut throat.. we demand fairness. But one group is offering 50 million guarantee plus 50 percent split.. while the other is offering 12.5 million. Period. Smh. We can see who's sincere about wanting the fight.
