Froch was a very underrated fighter; I was a fan back when he was fighting because he was a real throwback in the LaMotta mould of using toughness and bloody-mindedness to make up for a lack of top-level skills. He also had heavy hands and kept his power right through to the 12 round and generally caught up with and overtook his opponents late in the fight, overwhelming them with heavy shots and aggression.

He is, however, an as*hole. His ego is unmatched.

I'm a big Froch fan, but Joshua fans remember - Froch picked Eubank Jr to beat both Groves and BJS. He's very biased to his mates when picking fights, and is usually wrong.
