Yeah he's got little choice in my view because all the signs are the WBC will do whatever they want. Making the Breazeale fight mandatory pushes the winner of Whyte/Ortiz back 12 months or probably far more.

I do like that match though. A good chance to see how much of Whyte's new post injury/increased professionalism schtick is based in reality. I actually fancy him more against Wilder than Whyte, at least for the first 6 rounds based on Ortiz's performance against Wilder.

Ortiz being a skilled lefty really messes with fighters.

There aren’t a lot of good southpaws at. HE somwhen one comes along it really throws these guys off.

I think Whyte tries his hardest to duck this fight.

He's definitely awkward. Southpaw and skilled but without selling many tickets makes the risk/reward ratio pretty low.

If I were Whyte I'd sack the WBC route off. They've given him the clearest signal possible that there's nothing down for him there. Even if he beats Ortiz what's the odds they'll find another reason to stymie him?

Like Straightner says above the IBF follow through on their mandos. Whyte can get a shot direct at the main man and they should be able to build it into a big domestic clash.

Whyte just needs to make Ortiz work for 6-7 rounds then smash him to bits when his lungs drop out of his ass again

I support my U.K. fighters all the way but Whyte will get stepped on. Ortiz was beating wilder with Wilder’s power he was still plodding forward and forcing the issue. Whyte has no power .

Ortiz vs no power and no balance = split decision win for Whyte if staged in the U.K. .. we may have a chance now I think about it😂😂

Basically giving wilder the path of least resistance until he can cash out with Joshua

From what i heard he would prefer to fight Ortiz, only if the "Secondary" is removed from the mandatory stipulations placed there by the WBC.

But great match up to be honest.

I'm torn on this one. Keep them both off their PEDs or let them both use again? Which would make for the more exciting fight?
