Canelo was suspended, but using forensics to detect the history of someone using drugs, Is HIGHLY accurate. People go to jail over hair tests because it shows a true biological history marker as to what is being put into someone body. Science doesn't lie, and solid testing that's used in courts for evidence has been used since 2005.

Not all substances will leave trace amounts in hair. Again, I already explained my views in my post. Canelo is dumb either way. He took PEDs, then he is not as good as he is hyped and he's dumb. He ate meat in his own country which is known for tainted meat for a decade? He is even more dumb. Either way he is a moron.

If the hair sample is the gold standard for testing, why didn't it detect the clenbuterol that Canelo claims came from tainted meat?

Shouldn't it have just confirmed what we already knew from the other tests?

If the answer to that is "No, because it can't detect those levels." then I can't really see how it is held up as a gold standard.

Gold standard for detecting PED abuse in the last 6 months. That's the point meat contamination leaves extremely low trace in your body of clenbuterol and stays for only about a week. When you take this for PED use its much higher levels that stay in your hair follicles for 6 months. Urine test showed low trace consistent with meat. Hair test not showing any traces is exactly what you would expect if his story is true and that he is NOT on PEDs and simply ate meat from a country that has a problem with meat.

It's true that none of this should have happened at all because Canelo should have been more careful with the meat already being a known problem in his country. Now some are saying he did that intentionally to delay the bout. It's so easy to speculate but harder to reserve judgment.

Why weren't you mofos saying that sht before? post a screenshot of you saying hair tests are inaccurate from let's say a month ago. Post it. Why wait until the results come out to claim hair tests are worthless. Thats called moving the goalposts.

You guys are the same posters who were quoting Conte as the gospel when he said Canelo's meat excuse was nonsense. Now Conte says the hair tests are a game changer and now he ain't sht.
