Big baby is a super heavyweight, the guy is just big and that's that. It's not like he looks like a fat slob. I like the guy I think he gives anybody a problem.

Yup.. How tall is he? Like 6'3'' - 6'5''? Just looked it up - boxrec has him @ 6'4'', which means he's prolly close to 6'3'' as they tend to over-exaggerate fighters' heights.

Just look at Arreola, who is like 6'2'' and at his fattest around 258, but looks exponentially worse than Miller, despite being more than 40 pounds lighter.

I have only seen him fight live once, and don't recall much; I've never seen his highlight reel or anything either (about to watch sometime tonight). How do you rate him?? Do you think he poses a real threat to the top contenders/champions at HW like Parker, Tyson Fury, Joshua, Wilder, or Povetkin?

Or even the next level of contenders, who are just slightly below the aforementioned like Pulev, Ortiz, Whyte, Ruiz, or Hughie Fury?

I think Duhaupas is in the group just below, along with guys like Charles Martin, Stiverne, Takam, and Breazeale. So how he performs should prove if he's really heading in the right direction to the top echelon of the HW division.

Yea it's amazing how his body is built, even compared to a guy like kownacki who has a similar size frame.

Yes I've seen a good amount of his fights. He's got one of the highest work rates in the heavyweight division, throws a lot of punches and mixes them up well. He moves very well too, he's a pretty good athlete and his weight really seems to help him take a punch (it might be because he's got very thick legs)

I'm convinced he beats the martins, brazeales, stiverne and guys like that. I want to see him in with guys like pulev, whyte, and Ortiz before I say he beats the top guys but I think his youth will win him those fights(contenders)

A lot of people won't take him serious because his physique but he is legit

Thanks for the assessment my good man..

Doesn't he have a kickboxing background?

I just watched some highlights of him, and you know what - he sort of reminds me of a more powerful, but slower version of Tyson Fury.

I draw that comparison because he has such an awkward, diverse array of shot selections, and he can fight very well on both the outside and inside (although he's definitely NOT an outside boxer, but he knows how to work his way behind a jab). He can use leverage against his opponents on the inside EXCELLENTLY. He can generate CRAZY power at such short ranges on the inside. Something that some boxers never learn is the management of distance - and I think he has absolutely mastered that (probably his kickboxing background helped him here).

I think he needs to work on his foot speed a bit, but he's got the angles, and shot selections down pat..

And like you mentioned - his stamina is very impressive, which is another reason he sort of reminds me of a bigger, more powerful, but slower Fury. His stamina allows him to keep firing off combinations.

Oh, and his chin seems pretty damn stout.

I agree that as of right now, he beats the Breazeales, Takams, Chisoras, and Charles Martins of the division. Duhaupus on on this level, and he is BY NO MEANS a given for Miller, but based on what I've seen, I think he'll make fairly easy work of Johann: prolly get him out of there sometime around the 8th.

But also like you said - I'm gonna have to see him against a SERIOUS contender like a Pulev, or Dillain Whyte before I rate him as world level ready for the top dogs. I think Pulev, and Whyte's foot speed MIGHT give him some fits. He's definitely gonna have to cut the ring off..
