Is GGG Hall of Fame Material?

Golovkin's first real test IMO was against Danny Jacobs in March of 2017. That was a close fight that could have gone the other way had he not scored a knockdown early in the fight. His second biggest challenge to date was Canelo in September of last year. With that being said is Golovkin hall of fame worthy? My honest opinion, No.

I still think Golovkin needs more to warrant a hall of fame ballot. Perhaps unifying the division, beating Canelo convincingly, fighting a couple more high profile fights and winning them. Or maybe even stepping up to 168 and winning a world title there. I'm a huge Golovkin fan but that's just my opinion. What do you guys think?

Bull****. That was a clear UD win. Even without the knockdown ggg still would have won the fight on the scorecards.

He's too famous not to be in the Hall of Fame which is what it is- hall of fame. Not skill or accomplishment or talent- fame. GGG has plenty of those. Don't get me wrong, but he'll get in. I also think Broner gets in.

I did and ggg was the agressor, landed more cleaner shots. Outjabbed jacobs 3-1 and outlanded jacobs by 2-1. Landing a couple more power shots dosen't get you the win. Also, most of jacobs shots were landing on ggg's gloves and elbows. I saw ggg popping danny's face the whole fight with clean power jabs.

people still pretending the jacobs fight could have gone either way...thats laughable. i knew it was laughable in the round by rounds when the gave the first 3 rounds to jacobs which made zero sense since he didn't clearly win any and lost round 3 by a mile not to mentioned was outjabbed in round 1 but hey maybe he won round 2? then they come back with a one point win and scream ROBBERY.

If the boxing hall of fame was as tough to get into as other sports hof's I might agree with you. But boxing hall of fames got a low barrier to entry & I think GGG is already a lock.
