I know G's resume isn't great, but what could he do under the circumstances? You can add Lemieux to the list. That was a good win.

It was Chad's idea to go down to 168 or have it at a catch weight. Ward pressured Chad into going all the way down to 168, so it was both their fault. But it still stands, that was a worthless win and a pointless fight for Ward.

Ward wanted to split the money with G at 50/50 each, so G said if Ward wants to do that then he can make some concessions by fighting at a catch weight of 164. That was fair considering G was the bigger star at the time. If Ward didn't like the weight, he should have brought his price right down.
