Comments Thread For: Gervonta Davis, Machado WBA Title Beef May Become a Legal Rift

There is a lot of confusion going on when it comes to the super featherweight title of the World Boxing Association. Jezreel Corrales was the WBA 'super' champion at 130-pounds. Last October, he was knocked out in the eight round by Alberto Machado to capture that world title at the Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

This whole thing makes zero sense. Definitely something they're not telling us, or is TMT money involved?

Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if that cheat Mayweather payed off the wba.

***** Floyd has been paying officials for years that’s how he stayed undefeated.

And what proof do you have of these payoffs? Can you point to an article by a credible sports writer that this has happened?

There is nothing confusing about this : in 2011 the 'Regular' WBA title siezed to exist as a 'World-Title' in the creation of the 'Super' Title, you clowns are still recognizing the 'Regular' as a legit belt.

When Lamont Peterson challenged Errol Spence jr. he had to vacate the WBA 'Regular' title -- but wait! why wasn't it a 'unification' if its a legit world title? figure it out.

              Edit:

The WBA has been around since entering the new millennium.
Thanks to : Koba-Grozny for the schooling hehe.

This is not right to Machado. Davis should throw that thing in the trash.
