Hearn is also powerful, but I wouldn't expect Wilder to accept a fight with Whyte for $20m without seeing the details. As Whyte has never generated that money Wilder would have an equal right to want to know HOW he is paid and by who seeing as the fight itself doesn't generate that money.

I kinda figured that you went by his track record. But what you're not clear on is the history of Al Haymon and what he can help generate for a fight. You're just a fan so you won't know the details anyway. All you need to know is that Haymon is a powerful man and has helped generate 8 and 9 figure pay days for fighters. You agree to the deal in principle and then you work out the details. Nobody is asking Anthony to sign anything-just agree.
