Good or Bad Offer for Wilder?

Super risky offer for Wilder to give...I wonder how it'll turn out.

Does he end up making more than $12.5M?

Wilder is not making any money in this fight, he sacrifice all his purse to have fight in US.

Damn...at least a fight in the US will help with his popularity at home, I guess.

Seems risky but over here he may just need to not get KO'd and he'll get the "W" for all the talk of getting robbed overseas there is a lot and I mean a LOT more home cooking in America.

I just don't see this being a success on PPV unfortunately. I think Joshua fans will travel so the gate will do well wherever it is maybe as much as $20m but probably around $10-15m but PPV I don't enough to pay Joshua $50m and leave any money left over for Hearn, Wilder and his 3 managers/advisers etc; I hope I'm wrong and I am underselling how it does commercially and if that's the case the fight will be done quickly.

I think a $50m GUARANTEE in Joshua's pocket and Wilder may be working for free that night. Hopkins-Jones II style.

I think he does but not that much more .

I agree It's a terrible offer for Wilder and his team to make from a business perspective because he is taking all the risk and all the financial loss.

However, Wilder and his team sense that getting AJ next gives them the best chance to beat him (i agree) so they are willing to lose up front and win down the road.

Thin line between gutsy and ******.

There is no offer bc he didnt give anything . lol

The dead line stipulation offered by Finkel is the only REAL thing stated and thats not even real bc Hearn has NOTHING today to agree on with no contract ?

              ..............................

Its great way to rile up idiots like here and to build a 2019 fight but get real and use common sense .

NO deal can be made with vague promises without at least a meeting , which is tomorrow ..........

What about that deadline that ended today bc team Wilder pushed it back TOMORROW doe ?

Of course he does. If promoted correctly, this fight generates a 100 million upside, worldwide.

Even if it does well Hearn isn't getting any money from Wilder for the fight. Team Wilder will be running the show and lead promoter. Hearn would take his percent from AJ's purse.
