That being said, Benavidez DESTROYS Plant in that RING right now. Plant needs a step or 3 before that Benavidez fight. Plant is not even in the Top 15 by the WBC at the moment.

What I think Plant SHOULD DO first is get himself in Mandatory Position for the WBA 168 Strap since they have him listed at #5 so maybe get a Eliminator against one of the WBA Top 5 and get himself in position for the winner of Callum Smith vs George Groves. Try to get that WBA Strap then come after Benavidez for a big unification bout
