So an official offer wasn't sent via email by Deontay Wilder (not team) to Eddie Hearn. It was an unofficial email with no contract offering 50 million... Interesting
I don't think anyone really believes it was a genuine offer. They are going to meet Friday do you really think they would send an offer for $50m two days before that meeting?
It's all just to create headlines, buzz and get people talking before the real discussions begin and of course all the lunatics on here and social media have already got their knives out and crying about who's ducking who.
I just watched the Finkel interview saying it's off the table if it's not accepted tomorrow. I kind of agree that this is all buzz before they sit down and talk. I can't see contracts being sent, agreed and signed in 24 hours. I think that's just a line.
I imagine all this will spill over into the planned meet and talks for Friday, and the offer will still be there then.
Hearn seemed open enough in the interview i watched. He said he's interested but needs the details and assurances first, which is obvious.
I am wondering if £ vs $ will pop up. Adam Smith mentioned that but i didn't see anything in the Hearn video i watched.
We will see what happens over the next few days I guess, one way or the other. At least the ball seems to rolling now anyway.

Just seen this, and agree, this is all just pre-publicity before the real negotiations begin behind closed doors!
Let's hope both sides are serious and realistic about making this happen!!
Oh man wilders fangirls were so excited tonight they even fooled me into thinking this 50 mil offer was for real. Its just an opening gambit. Mainly designed to get the americans all frothy.
