me playing the "they dont want it card" isnt desperation of me not wanting the fight to happen...im telling u why i think it wont happenBecause you keep coming up with bull**** reasons in your own head as to why the fight won't get made when they aren't remotely grounded in reality.
You seem to be so desperate to play the "they don't want it" card so you can continue your fanboy agenda when actually both teams have said they want the fight and both teams have informally agreed to it.
tell hearn and AJ to prove me wrong...t.he offfer is there....prove me wrong
you guys keep creating fake backstories to try and turn things around ......this is in no way, shape or form me being desperate....im telling u i dont think hearn will accept this offer.......if im wrong im more than willing to eat crow and congratulate both sides on getting an exciting matchup done
the only desperation is the AJ fanboys and their deflection attempts to turn this around on wilder/american fans
wilder isnt the one who has been balking for a couple of months now...wilder never told AJ he couldnt come in his ringComment

They cannot dispute this fight not happening in the UK. If Team Wilder puts forward 50m then they have zero say in that. Sky would be a problem if Team Wilder says they want all the UK PPV revenue.I think the venue issue is so that they can dispute it if it's not in the UK.
As far as Sky goes, I don't see any problem with that (after all, it's just UK broadcasting rights) unless Eddie wants to say, "We owe Sky fights that are within certain hours and that cannot be done if the fight is in the states."
Just my guesses there. Imagine the dispute will be about it not being in the UK because, as a promoter, Eddie gets more $$ out of this if it's to take place in the UK.Comment

It took Wilder 3 weeks to counter offer yet you didn't even give Hearn 3 hours to come back.chris the other day
"if wilder was offered 80 mil his fans would make excuses as to why he should still duck"
lol...you keep trying to cling to some notion i dont want the fight...if it helps you sleep at night.....hearn is going to try and drag this out........i hope he doesnt..i hope to god he doesnt.....i could care less about our bet...i want to lose it
but hearn has been balking for awhile now and saying everything but that they want the fight....and watch...he will continue to do so
It's clear where your head is and what you want.Comment

Yes it does appear that way.Yeah it’s getting a bit weird. I was hype and buzzing when I saw the headlines on sky sports, ran down to boxingscene to be met with buzz kill and posters pointing fingers, instead of rejoicing. At least it looked like both camp are working out a deal. That’s all I care for right now.
It takes a reasonable, mature and real Boxing fan to understand this.
3 years after they fight each other this forum will still be talking about who ducked who and who didn't really want it.Comment

They have a scheduled meeting Friday. I'd prefer to see how that transpired than get caught up in the "OMG he's ducking him" talk.
Let the grown ups do the meetings. I doubt the meeting is scheduled with the intent to find a way for the fight not to happen. These people are obviously too busy and accomplished to mess around with that.Comment

but fair enough...we will see what happens over the weekend thenComment

I agree, if you make the offer, you are the primary promoter and you host it in your country.
However, I can't imagine Wilder's team would meddle too much in UK PPV revenue. Probably a cut, but to try to grab the pot would be unreasonable. They know damn well they can't expect him to break contractual obligations without compensating.Comment
