Half life of ******* is only a coupla hours, but rumours suggest Carlos may be a meth head which extends the detection window out a great deal.. could be over a week depending on his level of use. It would be a useful excuse to explain not taking a test, but apparently Carlos' lifestyle has been commented on before, so I'm inclined to give him the benefit in the absence of hard proof.Comment

You'd have to be taking a helluva lot of benzos if you can't clear them out of your blood within 10 days. That's certainly the case for xanax (alprazolam), valium (diazepam) and ativan (lorazepam).Comment

At prescription doses, sure, you'd expect to be clear within 10 days or so, possibly sooner - dependent on dosage and the sensitivity of the tests... chronic recreational use can be detected for a month or more in some circumstances. Problem is you tend to redose yourself until you've either run out or you're so spazzed you forgot you had any left (or indeed where you put that ****) on account of the anterograde amnesia.Comment
