This summer!? Dude...May 19th IS the summer (heat wise). We'll probably see him in July or August....or next year. Just give up the WBA belt, so we can forget about you, Keef.

Either Errol got this boy shook or Danny stole his soul and clipped his balls in defeat. Dude is going out like a lazy buster (Douglas) and a spoiled Kelly Pavlik.

Keith Thurman has zero fans left. All anyone really wants to know now, is when are they going to strip him of his two belts? The guy is retired. Take the belts, and let the rest of the ww's finally fight again. Then DSG will fight Porter, and then the winner will be pressured into facing Spence.

If your Keith Thurman it was a smart move.. Everyone says he is scared to fight Spence but everyone doesnt mention Garcia amd Porter are also scared t9 fight Spence. Their excuse was they wanted rematches with Thurman for their belts they lost. Well! He gave up the WBC belt. Those two have to fight for the belt but Spence wants to unify. He will call out the winner.. Will Garcia amd Porter fight Spence next or will they make excuses just as the same as Thurman

Sweet, this is the best thing Thurman could have done and very noble. Let active fighters that want to fight go for the belt, winner takes on Spence! Thurman can fight bums once a year and ride off into the sunset.

Kieth Thurman now injures his ear! Return delayed! No time table for his return, but doctors estimate this could have him out at least 14 months - Boxing Scene

By "this summer" Thurman means summer of 2019 right?

I'm kind of thinking that he might actually be done. This injury has absolutely destroyed his career momentum, and while other fighters' comments about how he's got no hunger any more are probably mostly just empty smack talk, I think that there's some degree of truth in them. If he comes up surely he needs to prove that he still has what it takes before he can reclaim his place as a top fighter.
