Nah. They rank the top 4 guys to seed them to start with. And they get to pick who they wanna fight among the 4 unseeded boxers. Although obviously the 4th guy doesn't really pick so much as gets whoever no one else wants to fight.

There's no way in blue hell Canelo would ever pick Jacobs. Canelo himself and Reynoso know that style is alllllll wrong for him. Jacobs is taller, rangier, and comes in heavy. Jacobs beats Canelo 9/10. Canelo would pick Derevyanchenko, who's very similar to Golovkin but without the jab.

Soccer season is nearly over nothing better to do with my time. I’m merely dipping my toes in, I don’t think I have the mental fortitude to be able to be a regular poster here again.
