The fact is Broner could have won the fight if he had let his hands go. His corner was begging him to take it to a hurt and tired Vargas, but he just didn't do it.
If Broner thinks acting like a fool sells tickets, that's OK. He might sell just as many if he did more in the ring.

Broner is complete and utter human garbage. The way he disrespected vargas after the fight for no reason was ridiculous. Vargas showed nothing but respect in a fight I thought he won, he took the draw graciously. Broner acts like a ****ing idiot after another bull**** decision in his favor.

First they make Vargas drop down to 144 to cover brokers insecurities about fighting at actual welterweight weight limit. Then he gets a vull**** draw like he did with Granados, got the victory even though he lost.

I don't think you get Lyle Fitzsimmons point. I got engrossed in the Broner v Vargas fight and found myself warming to Broner as the contest progressed for the skills he was showing in turning the fight around.

I can't say I was rooting for him, because I thought Vargas maybe edged it for the aggression he showed, but I found myself respecting Broners skill and spirit.

Right up until he opened his mouth at the first opportunity and behaved like a spoils child. He made a mockery of the contest and his brave opponent. He's such a terrible advert for boxing. You don't need to be such a classless fool even to play the heel.

He's just a massive **** and neither Vargas, Jim Grey or anyone else should have to deal with him. He's just not that good a boxer to have to tolerate his ******ity.

I actually disagree with this. While I agree Broner is a clown and his act needs some new parts to it, he makes the whole event must see.

You know he's gonna clown in the buildup so you watch. You know the entrance is going to be flashy so you watch. You know post fight will be vintage clown ignorance so you watch.

I submit the only part of a Broner fight you don't need to watch is the 1st 3 rounds where he barely punches. After that, you know he's gonna fight like hell to try and win and you know he wont quit. He is a mediocre fighter above 130 that seems to realize this and generates buzz in other ways.

Sure, we all wish he did it in a different way but he isn't good enough that he will attract the fans that are drawn to "quiet greatness".
