    World Boxing Council featherweight world champion Gary Russell Jr. expects to have an early night when he faces undefeated mandatory challenger Joseph "JoJo" Diaz Jr. Their fight was finalized last week for Saturday, May 19, from MGM National Harbor in Maryland.

            If Russell was unbeaten as Showtime tried to tell us on Saturday he'd have a much bigger buzz and fanbase. People gave up on him after one loss.

            I think this is a test but he should win clearly. I just hope he fights again this year.

                  "If he gets reckless.."

                  Getting reckless is not a trait Diaz has shown at all -- IDK could be a long night for Russell if he is expecting some brawler

                    gary russell jr is p4p. his only loss was to loma who lost to salido therefore russell is better. did you know loma lost to salido?
