NEW YORK Adrien Broner didn't get the victory he thinks he earned Saturday night. Broner is sure, though, that the way he fought against Jessie Vargas proved the inconsistent ex-champion can continue to succeed against championship-caliber opposition. Even Broner feels his majority draw with Vargas amounted to a close fight at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, but the Cincinnati native figures fighting in an entertaining way was exactly what he needed to show boxing fans in his first fight after losing to Mikey Garcia.

Broner did perform, still he didnt win, he was gifted the draw but Vargas did a superb job too bad he does not have the KO power, because it would have been over for Broner.

I seriously feel like this guy is the most delusional boxer in the world currently. He is the Zab Judah of this era in terms of big fights, enjoyable to watch doe.

I really feel like if Broner had pressed super hard, he would've gotten the KO. Every time he tried, it was like 10 seconds left in the round. Underwhelming performance once again.

Beat me to it, delusional is exactly the word I was going to use. It was an entertaining fight largely despite Broner not because of him.

I wonder if he has a crew who are telling him just what he wants to hear? I felt for his corner during the Vargas fight as he seems like one of those boxers who doesn't take in anything during the fight.

this dude want a cookie or something just for trying a little bit more then he has in the past? Still didn't win, still his trainer yelled at him from beginning to end for not letting his hands go. Most felt he either lost or maybe deserved the draw. Not many felt he actually won the fight. But lets throw him a parade because he was shyt but not shyt with the corn in it. Nobody walked away saying Broner is back Broner is elite. Did he hear the fans in the arena? Did he see what fans have been saying about him on twitter? Vargas dominated the fight until he gassed out and Broner made a comeback second half of the fight and still most think he didn't win. If Vargas doesn't gas it's a near shutout. Broner is delusional

The only fighters who does that are old shot fighters. Broner cannot let the shows as he is not in shape. He could and should dont help nothing he got a draw, because he is not as great as he should be

                  I give it to Broner.
At least he came on in tge second half and finished strongly.
Would be very frustrating having to be in his corner or a fan of the man.
