Comments Thread For: Amir Khan: The Kell Brook Fight Has to Happen at 147 Pounds

Amir Khan claims he wants to fight Kell Brook in the near future. Khan also contends the Brook bout must be contested at the welterweight limit of 147 pounds, which could be a big obstacle in negotiations. The former 140-pound champion knocked out Phil Lo Greco in the first round Saturday night of a bout fought at a contracted catch weight of 150 pounds.

Amir Khan doesnt need Kell Brook, understand the quitter lost most of fans already, 'King' Khan can fight the Broners, Garcias, Spence, and Thurmans.

Kell Brook went over to Las Vegas about two weeks ago offering Spence Jr. a blow-job for a rematch but Errol said ' nah, go find me a belt b*tch and make the check right'.

Kell Brook better start snorting Eddies coke to make the weight, I dont care how its done.

Khan is the A side. Kell Brock needs to accept the clauses. The same way Hearn is forcing Wilder to accept Joshua's demands.

Makes sense for Khan to want it at 147 but this is just a starting point for negotiations, hopefully they can reach a compromise and just fight at a catch weight.

Rubbish. Kell better not try and make 1 4 7. But, the payday would be massive quite a few quid

Didn't Brook dare Errol Spence Jr. to come up to 154? So why would he fight Khan @ 147? Brook should be looking to fight the winner of Ali vs. Smith @ 154! If he drains down (which is ******) to 147, I hope Khan beats him!

Lol I knew this would happen. It’s just a question of if brook is confident enough to be able to beat khan at that weight

However if brook can win a world title at 154 that could change things. Surely if he’s willing to jump two divisions to challenge for a world title he’s willing to jump one?

Brook isn't the same fighter at 147. Not after ludicrously blowing up to middleweight.

Khan does not want this fight. He's avoided it for years and he'll continue to avoid it for years
