Mayweather won the fight with one punch in the first round. Once Pacquiao saw how quick Mayweather's counter was he knew he wouldn't be able to do a thing to beat him.
Yup. Fight was over right here (and every Pac fan knew it):

Yeah, that was the same type counter that Marquez put him to sleep with so he probably had a bad flashback.

Manny pre Marquez KO would walk through right hands to land his left.

Post Marquez he was much more careful about stepping in.

The best time for a Floyd v Manny fight was post Hatton.

        Not 7 years later...

I think an uninjured Pacquiao would have beaten him that night or at least came closer to beating him. Floyd did no damage at all to Pacman. His face didn't have so much as a red scuff.

Pac would have been the favorite to win that time.

great...another thread where we hear all about another opponent Floyd would have dominated to the degree that actually fighting was pointless. not to mention how it was all pac/arum's fault the fight didn't get made.

The opinions are divided who would have won. The version of Pac floyd fought hadn't got a k o for gosh knows how long.
A fight against the Pac that was koing everyone is the one people think floyd ducked and would beat floyd.
If it went to points floyd would always have a chance. But floyd didn't want to fight the Pac that was stopping everyone. So he can't get much credit for beating the couldn't ko anyone Pac version.

Floyd own father after the cotto fight admitted that he's too scared to put his son against pac.
